ABOUT SGT YOUTH PARLIAMENT

The Model Youth Parliament Programs (YPP) lay a bridge between youth, like-minded people working for society, and government by providing a common platform and foster for a healthy discussion on political reforms, parliamentary activities, policymaking, education, and employment. The purpose of the Inter Youth Parliament is to familiarize participants with the three main functions of the legislature, which are to represent the people, enact laws, and supervise the executive branch. It is where lawmakers create laws, organize policies, and have discussions and discuss matters that impact the lives of numerous people. It aims to improve and fortify our nation’s sociopolitical, sociolegal, and socioeconomic fabric.

COMMITTES AND AGENDA.

• Lok Sabha

Agenda- Deliberation on the review of enforcement directorate (ED) on
the cases related to Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

• AIPPM

Agenda- Electoral reforms in India

• INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Agenda- Discussion between the countries whether Capital Punishment
formerly called judicial homicide is justifiable or not.

• RAJYA SABHA
  Agenda- violence in Manipur and the deteriorating law and order situation in the the Northeastern state.

REGISTRATION DETAILS.

The Registration process of the teams will begin from 4th May, 2024
STUDENTS FROM ANY COURSE PURSUING A BACHELOR’S DEGREE CAN PARTICIPATE.
The Registration process shall end on 25th May, 2024.
The prescribed fee for the competition is –
INR 900/ only (without accommodation)
INR 1500/ only ( including accommodation).
FEE ONCE PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
