About KLE Society

Karnataka Lingayat Education (KLE) Society was established on November 13^th, 1916, in the form of an Anglo-Vernacular School. At present, there are 296 educational institutions with a total student strength of 138000 and staff strength of 18000 in diverse faculties like Arts, Science, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering, Dental, Pharmacy, Architecture, Law, Nursing, Ayurveda, Management, Information Technology and Computer Science.

These institutions spread across unknown rural areas to well-known cities, are at par excellence in infrastructure with a high-quality education which are accepted with wide acclaim by members of society and approved by NAAC/Universities/NAB, etc.

About KLE Law College, Navi Mumbai

KLE College of Law, Navi Mumbai, was started in the year 2016-17 under the aegis of the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society. The Institution started with an ambition to impart legal education, which is in fact a very important step towards spreading awareness and empowering the helpless in society.

The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, and recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. It conducts LL.B. (Three Years) & B.L.S. LL.B. (Five Years) Courses. The College also provides Certificate Courses in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights, and English Language.

About the Competition

The Judgment writing competition entails capturing the drafting skill and art of decision-making in budding lawyers aspiring to join the reputed judicial services and enhance drafting and writing skills to unfold the dynamic role of the legal relation to society. The competition involves a comprehensive approach towards law in terms of theory and implication of law. The legal arguments on facts and situations with legal precedents and reasoning pave the way for judgment writing.

Drafting Judgment is the most significant skill for the parties, the Advocates, the legal fraternity, and ultimately the citizens of the Country. We invite students from across India to participate in this prestigious event, which aims to improve their drafting and judgment writing skills.

Hence with the objective of providing all the enthusiastic learners with an opportunity to examine the problems from the legal perspective, apply the law and render a suitable outcome.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all bona fide regular students enrolled in any undergraduate/graduate Law Course (5 Year course & 3 Year course) within India which is recognized by the Bar Council or State Government or Central Government as the case may be.
