About the Internship

Internal Audit Team is looking for a long-term intern (6 months) for the Legal Compliance vertical. Position: Legal Intern – Compliance Team

Eligibility

Currently pursuing an LLB degree with prior internship experiences with Lawyers, Law firms, etc.
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Manupatra).

Responsibilities

As a Legal Intern on the Compliance Team, you will assist in reviewing legal, statutory and regulatory requirements. This position offers hands-on experience in compliance, legal research, and risk management, providing valuable insights into Labour Laws, Environmental Laws, Pharmaceutical Laws and other industry-specific laws.

Conduct legal research on regulatory and compliance matters. Assist lawyers in the team in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and procedures.
Support compliance audits and monitoring activities. Compile and organize legal documents and records for review.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
