- Legal Associate: As part of the Legal Team, the person will report to the Head of Legal Counsel & Company Secretary.
- Main responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks to support the Legal team including:
- Contract Management| License & Registration| Retail Shops|Overall Compliances
- Drafting and executing various commercial agreements, NDAs, lease, vendor contracts for wholesale, retail and travel retail business
- Filing applications for various licenses and registrations such as cosmetic licenses, BIS registrations, EPR plastic registrations, IEC, Legal metrology, and other registrations, customs, data privacy regulations, e-commerce regulations etc;
- Applications for local licenses and registrations such as trading license, SE license, music license and appear before authorities.
- Oversee internal Legal management tools and platforms,
- Monitoring calendars and following up,
- Record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents,
- Communicating updates and projects’ progress,
- Coordinating with external counsel and verifying outstanding balances with them.
- Requirements:
- You must have a graduation degree and minimum 3-4 years of Legal experience in the consumer products or retail industry.
- Candidates must have strong drafting, administrative, organizational and research skills. You should be familiar with key legal principles and the ability to grasp and interpret legal documents.
- You are detailed oriented, pro-active, dynamic and very well organized with a capacity to adapt to a fast moving environment. Your strong planning skills allow you to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities. You have strong communication skills which allow you to build strong relationship within a team.
