About the Job

The National Law University Delhi (‘University’) seeks to engage one Academic Fellow for one year on a contractual basis for the Joint Masters/LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law &
Management Programme.

Eligibility

Minimum 3 years of IP litigation/IP prosecution/IP Transactional experience if the candidate has LL.B. and who is keen to explore an academic sabbatical.

Salary

• A consolidated Remuneration of Rs.60,000/- per month will be paid. No additional benefits/perks will be provided.
• The offer beyond the duration of the contract may be renewed based on the performance of the candidate.

Job Profile

• Will facilitate as a teaching assistant for faculty involved in teaching the WIPO-NLUDIPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme faculty.
• Will assist in the organisation and implementation of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme.
• Any other work assigned by the Programme Director of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme or by the University/Centre/Chair in the area of intellectual property

Duration

The appointment shall be for 12 months and any subsequent renewal is contingent on the further requirements of the project as well as an analysis of the performance of the candidate. The contract may be terminated by providing a 15-day notice from either side.

STAGE – 1 (50 Marks)

• Educational Qualification and Academic Performance – 15 Marks
• Relevant experience – 15 Marks
• Demonstrable Interest (Relevance) – 20 Marks

STAGE – 2 (50 Marks)

• Written Test – 15 Marks
• Interview (Knowledge & Behavioral Profile) – 25 Marks + 10 Marks

The candidates invited for the written test and interview shall be in a 1:4 ratio after screening the candidates for qualifying in STAGE- 1.
